seems very popular suggestion on this forum from actual users. I have
no experience personally. If you get serious about it, using the search
function on the forum with sheevaplug will likely get lots of older
discussions about it.

p.s. I feel your pain (sorta). I just ordered the TOUCH for use at my
weekend cottage. Currently have a BOOM and SB3 there, with the SB3
feeding the small stereo setup. But all is mysqueezebox.com. With the
touch, I'll be able to attach a 2TB USB drive and have my own music as
well. I'll also say that I used to be a big user of ITUNES, primarily
based on playlist use. But since moving primarily to Squeezeboxes, I
eventually got to the point of rarely using itunes for anything other
than synching music to iphones/ipods. Even playing music on the
computer, I prefer foobar2000 and I do ripping with dbpoweramp and
tagging with mp3tag. I can create "smart" playlists in SB with the
various playlist plugins from erland and these work very well. Can't
use on the TOUCH, but at the moment can't play ANY of my own music at
the cottage, so still a plus.
