I only experienced one time of short buffering and otherwise satisfactory playback of 24/96. I have a gigabit setup (DIR-655, Qnap TS-119 and Touch). The 24/96 playback led to another problem though; the digital relay in my Audio Note DAC1.1/IIx can't handle the high rez signal I is now being modified!
