Don't know what to tell you. You could wait until an employee answers
the tread. You could send it back under the 30 day return policy.

Two things to think about. The factory/Logitech are probably the only
ones with the the round factory seal tape so it was probably done by
Logitech meaning just keep the unit. Second thing to think about, how
long is it going to take to get another one if you return this one. It
does have a two year warranty. If you fire it up and it works OK, why
not just keep it. Once you plug it in whether it has already been
plugged in, its still used isn't it.
