Even in standalone mode, I believe that my Touch sounds better than my old SB3 (via digital output). Having said that, I personally believe that it does sound a little better when streaming from a server and with it's local server disabled. I'll also be trying to buy a replacement high quality PSU in the near(ish) future. In short, brilliant piece of kit.
