I do use occasionally streams, using TinySB, and I have many issues with some stations, and no issues at all with others (across the atlantic). But, I also have a rock solid broadband connection and home wireless, which does help. I personally think that when you are using mysqueezebox.com and listening to internet streams, there are far too many variables, so I would not jump to conclusions too early. Good luck debugging it...
