I havent read all the posts here - My two cents - I would rip to WAV using foobar with SOX SRC (signal rate converter) VHQ linear, converting to 24/96. I would also use a PC and ethernet. A PC has enough power to handle the higher bit rate. Not all converters are the same. I also have dbpoweramp. They use SSRC as a SRC. Not as good in my opinion. Get used to playing with your music!
