This was the resolution from the discussion on mailing list; basically "if Apple does remove vfork(), things will break quite obviously, and we'll deal with it then".
The apparent alternative mentioned on the mailing list of setting _POSIX_C_SOURCE doesn't work, because that *removes* the declaration of chroot(). --- configure | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-)
