Flashed the ISO using the terminal method described in the documentation.
When trying to boot into the "Try Trisquel without installing" option, I get
presented with a blank screen and blinking underscore. Flashed the ISO twice
to check whether this was an issue the first time around, but the issue
persists.
I suspect this might have something to do with section 3 here:

The laptop is MacBook 2,1, so this has nothing to do with the nonexistent
UEFI.
