Take a look at your maven.log generated in the same direcotry as turbines project descriptor. Does the test plugin loads the junit jar or not... ??!? Normally the test plugin loads junit 3.8.1 automatically... > > How comes that maven complains? Don't know. Should work. Each off my own mavenized projects has a couple of junit based tests. All get compiled and executed. Sometimes a downloaded jar is corrupt. Try also to delete your the junit jar file into your repository...
