Heeelp anyone pleeease;-) Really sorry to bother, I see this forum is more for advanced users, but I am sure there are hundreds of newbies like me who struggle like hell on some basic concepts and do not even dare to ask questions. Just look at all the topics where people always start by apologizing for asking some question.
I'm expert in C++/unix but new to web development and python, and like many others have been a little misguided by the "Create a database-driven, ready-to-extend application in minutes... designer friendly... easy... not a single SQL query...code that is as natural as writing a function."... I now realise that this only applies to web+python experts, as because of the lack of documentation there is no other way than to dig into the source in order to figure out some concepts. Anyway, I'll stop complaining now, I like this framework a lot and looking forward to helping make it better. Maybe it would be worth starting a TG-Newbie forum, where beginner (and more advanced) users can help eachother, leaving more time to TG core developers to get on with more important work than to reply to basic questions.... ...or, did I miss something, is there already such a forum?
