In Chicago, DirecTV carries WWME-CA (classic TV "MeTV"), which is both
a Class A LPTV at channel 23 and a subchannel to WCIU (26.2). The
deal was made before the digital transition started. They aren't
offering further sister station WMEU-CA (more classic TV "MeToo"),
which is on at 48 and 26.4. And they aren't offering WCIU's two other
digital channels--a total of 4 (not counting HD), more than any other
station in town (WTTW, WMAQ and WLS are the only other stations that
offer more than one digital channel, AFAIK--Ion station WCPX may offer
more, but WBBM, WFLD and WPWR only offer their HD signals and the
Spanish stations and other PBS stations don't have anything else--
WTTW's HD is not a straight simulcast of the SD).
