I thought the idea of taking a break this soon was idiotic at first, but it occurs to me now that it may be a great idea. Given the developing meme that Conan's Tonight Show is a flop, this is an excellent chance for the creative staff to step back, look at what's working -- and what's not -- and retool during the hiatus rather than on the air.
