ESPN doesn't have to care. Since Fox Sports Net has essentially given
up any attempt at national programming, ESPN is now a monopoly. Most
of the sports blogosphere will bash ESPN at every opportunity, but
will still watch insane amounts of it.

The other point to remember is that any blog that does any media
criticism is going to hit ESPN a lot, since they're responsible for a
significant amount of the content out there.

I suspect that as far as ESPN is concerned, as long as people keep
watching, keep going to their website, keep talking about them,
they're fine.
