I don't watch Ellen, but the intern that has been talked about here, Holly Hester, who said she would have married Dave but he broke up their affair over their age difference, has been reported to have worked on the "Ellen" sitcom - maybe it had something to do with that? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
