"Fewer and fewer dramas are set in New York City, let alone filmed on location." Has she watched TV lately? There are a number of programs filmed here in NYC - "Gossip Girl"/"Blue Bloods"/"White Collar"/"The Good Wife" (though they're pretending to be Chicago)/"30 Rock". The fall schedule is full of programs being filmed here (all of CBS's new dramas, "Smash", "Pan Am"). As a television writer for the New York Times, shouldn't she be aware of oh, say the television in New York? TVG -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
