I screwed up with the host number data. Here are revised (and hopefully correct) info:
Assuming that Wikipedia is correct in the number of shows Johnny hosted (4,531), then Dave matched that number on March 3, 2007, not March 19. Dave: 3,544 Late Shows + 4 LS Prime Time Specials = 3,548 Late Shows + 1,810 Late Nights = 5,358 late night shows he's hosted. 5,358 - 4,531 = 827 more shows than Johnny. LS #3,544 - 827 = LS# 2,717, which was March 3, 2007. He surpassed Johnny on the next new broadcast, March 12, 2007 (which seems appropriate). -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
