Paul Magers anchors the news in LA on both KCBS and KCAL, but not for over a month. He's also normally an avid Twitter user, but not for over a month. As someone who has not only interviewed Magers but looks forward to his running commentary on high speed pursuits, I'm concerned for the guy. He's missed an entire sweeps period. The only thing I can guess, and it is just a guess, is he took some time to be with his brother who recently retired as an anchorman in Chicago, but it is darned unusual for a lead anchor to be gone this long.
