Hi Sune, To insert a record without using the backend create a data element of 'Editing Type' set to 'Typoscript Object Path' in the TemplaVoila Data Structure form. During defining the element. It will give you a field to name the Object Path. You can then map it and reference it in the page TS setup (look at how the menu is defined in the DS and the TS for an example). If it is on only used on a single page, you'll probably want to create a new template linked to the same Data Structure.
