Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Jaunty Jackalope. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
I did test this in Jaunty 9.04 dated 2009-03-05, with firefox 3.0.7. I used the http://www.tudou.com/ website, To the best of my knowledge, it is now displaying the characters correctly with no changes made other than adding flashplugin-nonfree. It would be appreciated if this could be confirmed as fixed by the reporter. Thanks again and we appreciate your help. ** Changed in: flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- Adobe Flash player 9 displays CJK text incorrectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207198 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
