Yep. I confirm. The same thing here. Crash report dialog pops up, but serpentine just works and finishes the writing. Produced disks are ok.
The only thing I can add is that it happened twice in a row. Both times just before serpentine reported "Preparing recording" (under the progress bar) after "Preparing media".
