One odd thing: That Xorg.0.log file I just attached was labeled Xorg.0.log.old, and to my mind, it should be the SAME as the Xorg.0.log-ubuntu-7.04 file I attached earlier. Oh! I forgot! I aborted the reconfigure-display once halfway through. This means that the xorg.conf.old I am about to attach may not be the old one. Sigh.
