"Open Thunar as root. Go to File System > usr>share>icons>default. Right click on index.theme then open with Mousepad. Modify Inherits=DMZ-White to Inherits=DMZ-Black."
Hi Jason, Many thanks for this, can confirm that a 'sudo nano /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme' and editing the file to DMZ-Black resolves the issue.
