1. Request reproduction info: Ask reporter if the freeze has happened again, or
if it was a one-time event.
 2. Request crash data: If reproducible, ask reporter to:
  - Enable kdump (sudo apt install linux-crashdump && sudo kdump-config show)
  - Or at minimum: journalctl --boot=-1 > frozen-boot-journal.txt after next
reboot from freeze
  - zpool status output to check for ZFS errors
 3. Request regression info: "Did this work correctly on kernel 7.0.0-14 or any
previous kernel?"
 4. Note ACPI errors are cosmetic: The ACPI BIOS errors in WMID methods are HP
firmware bugs that appear on every boot — they are NOT related to the freeze
and should not be the focus of debugging.
 5. If reproducible without ZFS operations: investigate kernel ACPI/WMI
interaction
If reproducible during ZFS I/O: redirect to zfs-linux package
