Under windows Audio is fine.
Under Ubuntu Ubuntu 26.04 LTS 7.0.0-15-generic you get sound but its very tinny.
I understand that this laptop has 2 tweeters and 2 downward firing subwoofers. 

I can enabme teh speaker and the bass in alsamixer

so it looks like the cirrus amplifier chip (possibly Cirrus Logic
CS35L56 amplifier) is not being enabled to boost the signal to the
speakers.

I have tried adding the following line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

options snd-hda-intel model=1043:3f10

but it does not look like a profile has been created for this card.

Any help appreciated as this is driving me nuts.
