There's quite a few Alans on this list :) As I was the one who typed the main chunk of the rebuttals to the "LUGs are dying" statement, I'll assume you're talking to me :) I didn't use the term "meatspace" however I understand it to mean "in the real world". i.e. meat == bodies == humans. Rather than in the virtual world or "cyberspace" it talks about LUGs being "meatspace" entities, that is opportunities for people to meat in "meatspace" or "real life" *shudder*.
