Did you do either sudo aptitude install epiphany or sudo apt-get install epiphany? If so, that's not the right package name. It should be either sudo aptitude install epiphany-browser or sudo apt-get install epiphany-browser (depending on whether you prefer aptitude or apt-get). -- Alec Wright
