I have same effect too. 1) Start system: 3 layouts 2) fix layouts with this command $ setxkbmap -option -option grp:caps_toggle,lv3:ralt_switch,misc:typo 3) press key which generates acpi event (for example, Fn+Volume Up) and get 3rd layout again
