Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. To have any chance to find out what the underlying problem is, we need a few files from you attached to this bug report: - the output of the command `lspci -vvnn` (identifies your hardware more precisely) - /etc/X11/xorg.conf - /var/log/Xorg.0.log - the output of `dmesg`
For the two last files, it would be nice if we could have multiple versions: One from after you log in but before you run the test program, one from after you ran the test program the first time (and state if this broke anything), and one after the test program breaks your X. This way, we can see what lines were added to the logs at each stage. -- Xserver breaks when trying testxv with intel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
