Public bug reported: I initially had drivers from ATI installed but it was not enabling desktop effected when I upgraded it. My video card is a Radeon 4770. I then removed the ATI drive and fglrx and tried to reinstall the open fglrx driver but it didn't work. I always have to restartx when it boots now. When I tried to upgrade the fglrx driver, it does not complete.
