Mine is nvidia GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a. The problem is exactly same. For Eg: You open firefox , nautilus, Libreoffice in fullscreen. First two of them are fine and the third, Libreoffice window goes white. Try to shuffle them in order the third maximised window will be white.
But for flash videoes like youtube the first attempt to 'FULLSCREEN' makes them white. It's just not natty, I upgraded maverick's compiz to latest version with compiz ppa and even that shows similar problem. May be the latest NVIDIA-CURRENT (270.41.06) drivers conflict with latest COMPIZ (0.9.4+bzr20110415).
