** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg This is similar to Bug #330067 but not exactly. I have a brand new installation of Lucid (not an upgrade). I downloaded the latest Google Earth for Linux today. On starting the app, X immediately collapses, displaying a series of screens full of random blocks or bits of text. The screen keeps on changing randomly until I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del or the reset button. My chipset is Intel 845GVSR.
