The bug reported by David affects me, too (using a AsusTek, Inc. MultiTouch(TTI) on an Asus EeePC T101MT) I've reported it as separate bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/774938), but I don't seem to be able to assign it to you.
