Ok, if 2D is working properly then that makes me think a bit more that this is a compiz or unity bug. Here are the compiz/unity packages you upgraded:
upgrade compiz-plugins-main 2011-07-19 08:35:22 0.9.4+bzr20110527-0ubuntu4 0.9.5.0-0ubuntu1 upgrade compiz 2011-07-19 08:35:23 1:0.9.4+bzr20110606-0ubuntu6 1:0.9.5.0-0ubuntu1 upgrade unity 2011-07-19 08:35:24 4.2.0-0ubuntu4 4.2.0-0ubuntu5 upgrade libcompizconfig 2011-07-19 08:35:31 0.9.4-0ubuntu3 0.9.5.0-0ubuntu1 upgrade compizconfig-backend-gconf 2011-07-19 08:35:32 0.9.2.4-0ubuntu1 0.9.5.0-0ubuntu1 upgrade compizconfig-python 2011-07-19 08:35:46 0.9.4-0ubuntu1 0.9.5.0-0ubuntu1 upgrade compizconfig-settings-manager 2011-07-19 08:35:47 0.9.4-0ubuntu3 0.9.5.0-0ubuntu1 I'll go ahead and re-file this bug to compiz. I would recommend you downgrade each of the above packages to the prior version in order to determine more certainly that the compiz upgrades caused the regression. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => compiz (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/813207 Title: Display a mess in Unity 3d To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/813207/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
