We don't actually ship 32bit libraries in any of the amd64 mesa packages. The support you're seeing for other cards comes from the 32bit libGL/dri libraries in ia32-libs. Reassigning to that package.
Note that dpkg-multiarch is implemented in Oneiric, so you can just install the 32bit packages directly from the archive with “apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386”. As such, ia32-libs is going away, and this bug might be marked as invalid or wontfix. ** Package changed: mesa (Ubuntu) => ia32-libs (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to mesa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/798787 Title: libgl1-mesa-dri-experimental lacks 32-bit binaries for amd64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs/+bug/798787/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
