** Description changed: Hello, since "Precise Pangolin" upgrade, my GeForce 8800 GT fan is always at 100%, it's very noisy!!! On Oneiric I put this lines in xorg.conf: Option "Coolbits" "4" to enable thermal settings and control the fan. It works great until I upgraded to 12.04: at Xorg start, fan is at maximum speed.
