I've tested my wacom bamboo model "CTE-650", Gimp and karmic updated to this
day (01 oct 2009).
Just pluged-in the device, started Gimp, configured extended devices in the
preferences dialog. The cursor behabes normally. This bug looks like resolved
to me... :)
