I have had no crashes since a couple of days (however, of little usage).

SNA is still active:
$ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep SNA --color
[    11.933] (II) intel(0): SNA compiled: xserver-xorg-video-intel
2:2.99.917+git20150808-0ubuntu4 (Robert Ancell <robert.anc...@canonical.com>)
[ 11.933] (II) intel(0): SNA compiled for use with valgrind
[    11.973] (II) intel(0): SNA initialized with Ivybridge (gen7, gt2) backend

Kernel:
$ uname -a
Linux raobhati.cisco.com 4.2.0-19-generic #23-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 11 11:39:30
UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
