Since upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic, I'm experiencing a strange mouse
behaviour. Mouse clicks are not always interpreted correctly. Most of the time,
clicking once on application icons, links etc. seems to be interpreted as
holding the left mouse button down to draw the icon link etc. to a new
location. Same behaviour with window sliders. Clicking once, the mouse often
seems to interprete one single click as "click and hold". As a consequence, the
slider is moved on moving the mouse.
To release the mouse from "click and hold" a right mouse click seems to help.

Sometimes (about 50% of the time), the mouse seems to be working
normally. However, working with this malfunction is very annoying.
