Well to be honest, my computer hasn't crashed heavily or repeatedly yet. It is more like freezing and then it works again. I also notice it when watching video's (or at least trying to) that it hangs sometimes. Especially with Miro. Gimp is of course a pain in the ass when I want to use heavy brushes and stuff like that. But if I really need to use it, I use the 9.04 LiveCD, I'm just too lazy to downgrade the whole thing...
