While upgrading to 10.004 on my own system, my experience was similar to kwbauson's. However, my system was not able to recover. Rebooting resulted in the blinking cursor of death.
However (an additional consideration), my HP ZD7000 was also never able to suspend or hibernate in 9.10 (though it was able to in 9.04). And I think this might have something to do with the nvidia driver. Just before rebooting, a received a last transmission concerning a "failure to hibernate". Since the computer wasn't trying to hibernate, not sure where this info was coming from. -- package nvidia-96 96.43.14-0ubuntu10 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/528093 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-96 in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
