I am still having problems installing the proprietary driver, whether it's the fglrx driver in terminal, ati-driver- installer-9-3-x86.x86_64.run, or ati-driver- installer-9-12-x86.x86_64.run.
This is the error I get for trying to install the fglrx driver: "The following packages have unmet dependencies: xorg-driver-fglrx: Depends: xserver-xorg-core but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages." I attached all the errors I receive in the terminal for each attempt. I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9600. ** Attachment added: "fglrx error" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41334668/fglrx%20error -- Does not support current Lucid kernel (2.6.32) or xserver (1.7) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/494699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
