Think I have the same bug. Difference is I'm running Kubuntu. clean install. this is the tail end of Xorg.0.log after i've been logged out (xorg crashed) After that I get a text prompt until i restart the machine. startx will try to start but flashes a few times and fails with the "Error setting CPU to domain 3" error shown in 'startx output' both logs tend to point to Xorg so I will also inform them. I'm a user, so apologise if my info isn't up to much yet, but am hopefull i can learn as much as poss through my experiences here ;)
