OK José, The error text "failed to allocate primary buffer: out of memory" makes me think this might be a kernel issue anyway. Perhaps this bug started to affect you after a kernel upgrade (to 2.6.35-9 or 2.6.35.10). You might want to try to boot with an older kernel (2.6.35-8 or older).
Also you migth try to edit the file /etc/default/grub >From the line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" remove the word splash. This causes booting without plymouth. Also see bug #605837 and bug #607490 Those may have same issues. -- nvidia drivers not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/607551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
