Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mindi
Currently the recommends line in debian/control contains: linux-amd64-generic | linux-386 | linux-powerpc I would like to propose adding the others, so that nobody would be surprised to find a new kernel installing (as I just did) if they use aptitude without -R, assuming the package doesn't actually need 386 for some odd reason (I don't know). So, perhaps: linux-amd64-generic | linux-386 | linux-powerpc | linux-686 | linux- generic | linux-server | linux-server-bigiron | linux-686-smp | linux- amd64-k8 | linux-amd64-k8-smp | linux-amd64-server | linux-amd64-xeon | linux-k7 | linux-k7-smp | linux-power3 | linux-power3-smp | linux-power4 | linux-power4-smp | linux-powerpc-smp | linux-powerpc64-smp would be the appropriate line for Dapper, and the much simpler: linux-generic | linux-386 | linux-server | linux-powerpc | linux- powerpc-smp | linux-powerpc64-smp | linux-ps3 | linux-server-bigiron for Feisty and newer ** Affects: mindi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: MOTU Status: Unconfirmed ** Changed in: mindi (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => MOTU -- Recommends lacks generic kernel https://launchpad.net/bugs/90272 -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
