Public bug reported: I have two keyboard layouts - English and Russian, and a Defender KM-5390 USB keyboard with extra keys like "Play/Pause", "Back", "Forward", "Sleep", "Calculator", etc. When the Russian layout is active, pressing any of the extra keys performs the appropriate action (goes back, forward, changes volume, pauses current track, etc.) and sets keyboard layout back to English. This makes typing in Russian and controlling media playback very inconvenient.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Ensure there are at least two keyboard layouts. 2. Open a text editor. 3. Switch to the layout which is not English. 4. Press one of the multimedia keys (for example, "Pause"). 5. Type a few words. Expected result: The words are typed in the layout selected before. Actual result: The words are typed in English.
