I'm lost without asoundconf. I don't use pulseaudio at all and I must set the default alsa soundcard to an expresscard. I use speech recognition software running on wine.... both of these need to know the default sound card, and neither works optimally with pulseaudio. I also use UbuntuStudio with the real-time kernel.
Very hard for this configuration, where what's wanted is only one sort of sound (and that's only incoming), but wants the lowest latency and simplest configuration possible. -- Please remove asoundconf-gtk from the archive (asoundconf script has been removed) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
