Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cryptsetup
Using cryptsetup 2:1.0.6+20090405.svn49-1ubuntu3 on Ubuntu Karmic, I'm not getting asked for a passphrase of the root device anymore on boot and get dropped into a busybox shell. Therein, the RAID disks are assembled, but the encrypted partition not opened. "cryptsetup luksOpen" and "vgchange -a y" is required to bring them up. I'm using a UUID for the "root" kernel boot line. ** Affects: cryptsetup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Encrypted root not found (requires luksOpen / vgchange -a y in busybox) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/432052 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
