In Lucid, it seems to remember the circular_scrolling on/off setting, but the circular_scrolling_trigger value is not getting written to gconf, so is lost between reboots.
I also confirm the reporter's secondary bug ("Also, when I first start gpointing-device-settings, my SynPS/2 Synaptics Touchpad is set to off (even though it works). I can choose "Touchpad on" from the drop-down menu although this doesn't seem to be necessary.") which ought to get its own bug number. ** Changed in: gpointing-device-settings (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- Doesn't remember scroll settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/489830 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
