** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

When I set gnome-terminal to launch on start-up via Sessions Preferences
- in the System menu of Ubuntu 8.04 gnome-terminal appears in the top-
+ in the System menu of Ubuntu 9.04 gnome-terminal appears in the top-
right corner of the desktop without the title bar which normally
appears. The title bar has a Window Menu that pops up when you click on
the Terminal icon on the left and with minimize, unmaximize, and close
window buttons on the right. The gnome-terminal cannot be moved when it
  appears without the title bar.

The title bar always appears when I manually launch gnome-terminal after
start up. The problem has only appeared when I set it to launch on
  start-up in Session Preferences.

I would also appreciate also if someone could tell me another way to set
it to launch on start-up i.e. which file to modify, rather than going
  through Session Preferences.
