David: for me the workaround worked (hint: you will have to apt-get install konsole) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdevelop/+bug/253286/comments/21 at the autoconf mailing list the folks suggest that you will have to use a newer libtool, from wherever that ltmain.sh comes, it really should be changed to a newer version. thank you.
